Justin Jenkins founded Jet Evolution in 2005. It quickly became a leader in business aviation sales, acquisition, and leasing, serving some of the most sought after clientele in the world. In 2014, Susan Kopacz joined Jet Evolution as partner, after running her own corporate aircraft brokerage firm for over 10 years.
As a team, Justin and Susan represent two of the most energetic and successful principals in the business aviation community. Justin has been involved in all aspects of corporate aviation sales, leasing, maintenance, and management for over 20 years. His career began in 1994 at one of the world’s largest aircraft brokerage firms, and he later founded Jet Evolution. Justin grew Jet Evolution quickly by accommodating large cabin class trade-ins and by diversifying into leasing. He has earned the trust of a wide-ranging client base, with long-term loyal clientele that includes Head N.V, The Nicholas Group, Cintas Corporation, and many other prominent organizations. Managing complex international transactions, he developed a skill set to exact import-export purchases, sales, and leases. He is available to clients 24/7 to manage any consultation or questions.

Susan has sold corporate jets for almost 20 years and completed multiple transactions for well-known corporations, such as Aetna, AIG, The Raymond Corporation, and Books R Fun. Prior to becoming a partner at Jet Evolution, she was Co-Founder and COO of Loudoun Aviation, Inc., an international corporate aircraft brokerage firm, and she launched the VIP sales division for A.J. Walter Aviation, Ltd, aimed to provide parts support and maintenance contracts for the unique needs of BBJ, ACJ, and executive configured airline owners worldwide. She provides clients with in-depth knowledge of market trends and sample offer letters, lease agreements and purchase agreements. Her superior interpersonal skills are an asset to our company.

With more than 25 years in the aviation industry, Rolf Smith has built a reputation providing high level bespoke service to businesses and high net worth individuals around the world. His successful brokerage record includes Gulfstream, Bombardier, Falcon, Boeing and Airbus aircraft; helicopters; as well as yachts. Rolf holds a commercial helicopter license and is a licensed superyacht broker. His unpretentious, understated sales approach testifies to his Scandinavian background, earning him repeat and referral aviation and marine clients.

Jan Kopacz is a long time aviation professional with over 30 years of experience. He majored in Flight Operations Management at San Jose State University and has several thousand pilot hours in business jets. Jan is a U.S. Air Force veteran. After his career with the U.S. Air Force, Jan was a Washington Dulles based Air Traffic Controller and then managed the corporate flight department of a major broadcasting company until becoming a full time aircraft broker. He served as an advisory member of the FAA National Safety Committee. He also volunteers as a pilot with the Civil Air Patrol.

Brian Hay oversees our recently opened Atlanta office and is responsible for growth and business development in the southern United States. With 28 years of aviation experience, Brian has acquired a skill set uniquely suited for discerning clientele and large corporate flight departments. Brian began his career after growing up in an aviation household, achieving full certification as a Certified Flight Instructor at the minimum age of 18. His ATP followed in his 20s and he was promoted to Aviation Department Manager/ Chief Pilot of a large real estate firm in Atlanta. He subsequently started and managed multiple corporate flight departments, and continues to be an integral, active part of the sales and acquisition of tens of millions of dollars in aviation assets for those companies. Brian has owned and managed a 135 charter operation, and held required FAA positions as Director of Operations and Chief Pilot. He has amassed 11,000 hours and 10 jet type ratings, and is a graduate from the Auburn University School of Business. Brian brings to our clients a broad range of expertise in the following areas: strategic planning and needs analyses, aircraft selection and acquisition, project leadership and management. He is deeply committed to excellence and the highest levels of customer service.

Negotiating multimillion-dollar estates in the exclusive Deer Valley real estate market and keeping discerning buyers and sellers moving in the same direction have made her a natural in the corporate aircraft sales environment.
